Pocket rocket

IT is one of the strange quirks of life that something so beautifully crafted will spend most of its life hidden away, but knowing that you own a Bellroy wallet is enough, you don’t need to show it off.
These beautifully crafted wallets using premium vegetable tanned cow leather and are sublimely designed with some clever twists including a protected card ad business cards section,  along with a hidden notes compartment.
The contrast stitching and logo make the Hide and Seek Java wallet a thing to own let alone use, and will surely fill any owner with pride every time it is taken out of your pocket.
Staying with the Java range, the Very Small wallet has a total zip fastener which runs along two sides and enables money and cards to be carried without standing out in suits or skinny jeans.
It has an internal pocket for folded notes and comes in java, chai (tan) and cocoa colourings.
The micro sleeve wallet is something for the minimalists among you, and really does reduce everything down to size you might say, and is really designed to hold the most vital business and credit cards you use, with a pull tab to enable you to get to the rest that you need. Very nice.
The MS comes in black, tan or cocoa.
The slim sleeve wallet is the daddy of the collection in many ways it features the clever tab card system as with the aforementioned micro, but has the facility to take notes of most currencies and sports some natty stitching especially the outside corner tabs which comes in opposing colour.
All very nice indeed.

A good old shoeing: Italian style

THEY know a thing or two those Italian’s La Dolca Vita and all that not to mention Fiat, Ferrari and countless other designs and designers, the same goes for Volta shoes taking things to another level.
The brands Classic range is really something special, a strange timeless combination of styling, colours and design, as with all the beautiful things in life words have less impact that images.

So have a butchers at these little beauties that are the new editions to the shoes at Stuarts.

Tread or dead

SOCKS and sandals may be a staple image of the Brit abroad, but the Germans are doing something to put a stop to that with the new Adidas black sandals, oh and Sebago are doing their bit too with the Campside saddle shoes.
As part of the Originals range the three stripe sandals which have a suede footbed, originals patch, and a non slip zig zag sole comes in black, blue or brown and are a standout summer item.
The Sebago shoe is a classic boating shoe in a light stone finish sport three lace eyelets (leather laces), black suede quarter and heel in a moccasin style, with brown rubber sole. The shoe comes in a series of colour matches including brown tan with beige soles.

Dazzle with Adi this summer

IN my opinion only one sports company could get away with releasing one of the icons of sporting footwear in pink and get away with and that of course if Adidas.
The new Gazelle OG is well beautiful and is just part of a summer blockbuster of footwear coming from the cult manufacturer.
Everyone knows what the classic Gazelle looks like, well the OG comes in a soft baby pink, pink laces, black sole and black inner. The range also comes in blue, biege, turqouise and black.
The Indoor range of Gazelles are also something truly special coming in white, a slight alteration ton the toe, plus transparent orange rubber bumper soles make this trainer, which is predominantly suede and just superb in its simplicity.
The navy version loses a lot of the detailing of the white shoe, which gives it a completely different feel, navy with white detailing, three stripes and heel pull, plus laces the airtex finish on the tongue is also a very nice touch. Also check out the Team GB Gazelle, I won't say a word, just have a look at this little beauty.

Delicious.

London Calling: New Balance

IN many ways life is a numbers game, there always seems to be some mathematical equation to solve everything or to be the completion of things; 666, 999, 911 and so on, but I much prefer 574 and latest offering tin the fabulous New Balance range sporting that number.
OK so it is not exactly the Da Vinci Code, but what a shoe this is and the colour choice will have you drooling all the home.
Under the tag of OLG Olympic Pack Shoe, this classic trainer is anything but following the pack.
The predominantly white trainer comes in two colourways, with blue quarters with red/yellow backed N, white suede toe and heel with red heel pull and an orange/brown sole, suede, mesh and leather upper. In other words it as based on the Team GB colours.
The second colour choice is a predominantly French and navy blue trainer with white heel pull, red quarter, white/yellow backed N and blue toe again using the suede, mesh and leather combinations, plus the same sole colouring.
Sporting gold eyelets, the NB C-Cap midsoles, these limited edition trainers are the best thing relating to the London games I have seen so far, I am biased I do love New Balance, but even by my addiction standards the are a new high for New Balance.

It's in the bag

Having been away for an while I am back like a bad smell, and what better way to return than to blog on something that really is pushing back boundaries.
Carrying the latest technology around has never been so easy and so fffing cool and these bags are trés cool.
The new Unit portable bag range is simply divine, practical, stylish in the same vein as the designs of laptops and iPads themselves.
Using some superb colour swatches the Unit 01 laptop bags, which is more Hi-karamba than Ikea, being of Scandinavian design, is a shoulder or hand carrier bag with multiple carrying hooks to enable ease.
The top third of the bag folds over to enable it to morph into a shoulder bag, when laptop is not in use, with the padded laptop sleeve able to accommodate 13 or 15 inch laptops.
Two smaller pouches at the front enable chargers, phones or wallets to be carried.
The bag really is multi-purpose and comes in a stunning red, series black, beige, a lighter Army green and a stand out blue, almost aqua in its finish.
The range also offers an iPad carrier, Unit 4 which is a mini singular dimensional version of the shoulder bag.
It has a built in handle, protective padded sleeve and can be attached to either the inside or outside of the Unit 01 if required.

These really are a treat, go out and bag one today. Sorry, could resist.
