Grenson History Re-cap:

Grenson was originally born in 1866 as William Green. The Business thrived due to their invention of the Goodyear welted sole. Popularity was such that magazines such as Vogue began to cove the brand. 'Green and Sons' was shortened to 'Grensons'. Grensons have maintained a strong foothold in the fashion market and strive to still make the highest possible quality footwear around. Still manufacturing handmade bespoke shoes from their Northampton factory in Rushden.
