Howlin' by Morrison

Howlin' is a new line from the small Belgian firm Morrison, who since 1981 have been producing knitwear in Scotland with specially sourced, high-quality wools from Scotland and Ireland.
We were very excited when this brand returned and when it arrived in store you could see the quality that permeates through every piece- each made to the classic and original knitting traditions and qualities that this brand stands for. Whilst the Morrison label remains unaltered, the newer Howlin' brand is free to experiment with shape and design- and dare I say, appeal to a younger generation- with its distinct patterns and quality style and fit, the jumpers, cardigans, woolen vests, scarves and hats that make up this range have become some of this season's 'must haves'. Check out a few favourites from Howlin' by Morrison:

From the design stage and through each area of manufacture, Morrison strive for the best, and successfully combine tradition with modern techniques to produce garments unmatched in design excellence.

Stuarts London is proud to present exclusivley for the UK, Howlin' by Morrison.

Sunspel Boxers

Sunspel has been making t-shirts and underwear for 150 years, resulting in a timelessly understated British style. Daniel Craig wore the classic Sunspel '50s-style Riviera Polo combined with Persol handmade sunglasses for an unforgettable look as james Bond in Casino Royale. But it is Sunspel's quality range of boxer shorts we are interested in this time around:

Sunspel is best remembered for introducing boxer shorts to Britain, and since then they have also become well-known for their undershirts, underwear and loungewear all made from high-end fabrics. By using exceptionally soft cottons, such as Long Staple Egyptian Cotton or Sea Island cotton, as well as using uniquely structured fabrics, the Sunspel range contains clothing of unparalleled comfort that is well designed, well constructed and tailored to fit.
In the original laundrette commercial for Levi jeans, Nick Kamen reveals a pair of Sunspel boxer shorts after removing his jeans showing they're clearly an iconic brand.

All Sunspel clothes are carefully handmade with great attention to detail, resulting in elegant and sophisticated luxury clothing. Sunspel has a tradition of innovation, and have experimented with many new styles, fabrics and knitting techniques. The resulting fabrications are a reason for the unique quality of Sunspel clothing.

We have a range of other Sunspel products in stock including, the classic Riviera polo, classic t-shirts and long-sleeved t-shirts.

The Limited Edition Fairhaven Chukka is built with exceptional comfort in mind. Full grain leather uppers are lined with a full leather socklining. The non-marking The Sebago Docksides slip-resistant sole ensures firm footing, no matter what weather rolls in.

The Limited Edition Fairhaven Boot is perfectly suited to maintain long-lasting comfort and keep you on your toes, even after a long day on your feet. The rough out leather upper includes three-quarter socklining and corrosive-resistant Sebago eyelets. The Sebago Docksides slip-resistant sole helps maintain solid footing.

The Sebago-Moc Company was founded in 1946 by three New England natives: Daniel J. Wellehan, Sr., William Beaudoin and Joseph Cordeau. Their first shoe, the hand-sewn penny loafer, was styled after the popular Indian moccasins and pioneered what would become the company's patented welt construction. Two years after the initial founding, Sebago-Moc would sell its breakthrough leather boat shoe to Uniroyal.

Over 60 years later, these styles and more are available from Sebago Docksides slip-resistant">Sebago at Stuarts London.

With some exclusive styles, imported from the USA, Stuarts London is proud to be a stockist of leather jackets by Schott NYC. Here are a few oof our picks:

Very popular in store is the Schott LC1131 Brown Leather jacket (left). This is an extra slim fit jacket with a 100% Soft Leather Outer. It features a detachable collar to enable you to change your look.
Right is the Schott NYC Police Leather jacket. This jacket features a fleece-lined inner, fleece-lined hood and body warmer that is deatchable from the main jacket. This jacket is made from 100% leather hide and features multiple inside pockets.

On the left is the varsity-style vintage Schott NYC jacket, made from 100% cow hide. The two-tone black and beige colour scheme makes this jacket really stand out. The jacket has a quilt-lined inner for warmth and comes in a semi-slim fit. 'Schott' is subltely embossed on the back of the jacket.
A similar, plain version of this jacket with a wool front and leather arms is also available- click here.

The Classic Perfecto Motorcycle Jacket (right) has been mentioned here before, but we like it so much we're showing it to you again. The Perfecto is made in the USA from genuine naked cowhide leather with an insulated nylon quilted lining, but what really sets it apart is its styling with the distinct belted front. This jacket has been worn by James Dean and Marlon Brando (check out a video here.). The Classic Perfecto Motorcycle Jacket is available from Stuarts London while stocks last.

Clarks Originals: The Desert Trek

Following The Desert Boot and The Wallabee in previous decades, another original from Clarks followed with The Desert Trek.
Based on a style discovered in The Netherlands by the wife of an abstract artist, and then refined in Clarks' factory in Ireland by Lance Clark, the debut of Desert Trek in the '70s was timely as at this time the oil crisis meant leaving the car at home and walking for millions of people. Comfortable shoes were called for and Desert Trek was the answer. Clarks Originals Desert Trek's special combination of nature form last, trademark crepe sole and distinctive centre seams survive to this day.
