Casting call: You and your scooter wanted for new movie

Sounds like a 21st Century Quadrophenia in the making…

Kudos Productions in association with BBC Films have announced plans to remake classic British film 'Brighton Rock' and the producers need hundreds of period-accurate scooter riders as extras.

Based on the 1939 Graham Greene novel, the original starred Richard Attenborough in the lead role. This new big-screen version will star Sam Riley and Helen Mirren and will be set in 1964, so the scooters chosen will have to be of this period or earlier. As will the Mod clothes, which can be smart or casual.
