Alright so its just a parka coat with a whopping price tag of £450, but there is a good reason for this. The fact the jacket is made out of a special military formulated fabric, which combine canvas and woven metal interlocked together is one good reason. The style has been signed off by the man himself Liam Gallagher. The style, fit look is every bit to the mod classics. The fabric is light weight yet durable enough to with stand a bullet....( okay may be not a bullet but you know what we mean)

After the 60's brands like Persol and RayBan took a adip and the hungry fashion lads wanted something more vibrant to match up with there more sporty inspired look. By the 70's Carrera sunglass co. was the answer. Famous for making glasses for the sporting world Carrera became a must have item. It was the only company that was able to combine sport and fashion, functionality light weight practical. The new collection launched are exact 70's & 80's replicas and to be honest they look really cool.
CARRERA was founded in 1956 in Austria by Wilhelm Anger as the sports eyewear maker Wilhelm Anger Werker inspired by the Carrera Panamericana auto race. Twenty years later, they changed their name to Optyl International and devoted themselves to make motorcycle goggles and ski masks.
In 1964, Wilhhelm Anger developed and patented the ‘Optyl’ material, which was a heat-hardened plastic weighing 20% less than acetate resulting in a reduction of allergic reactions and improved fit through a memory effect that provided permanent elasticity and dimensional stability.
In 1974, the company was renamed CARRERA International and established a headquarters in Traun, Austria, and went to partner with automobile designer Ferdinand Alexander to develop the sunglass collection CARRERA Porsche Design.
In the 1980s, CARRERA sponsored sporting events such as the America’s Cup, the 1988 Winter Olympics, and Formula 1 racing.
In 1996, Safilo Group S.p.A. purchased CARRERA and is now has headquarters in Padova, Italy.

Settenta Matchday Mark 3
After the previous Fila Matchday jackets in 1982 the mark 3 was launched. Dubbed as the Terrinda jacket by the collectors and lovers of this giant brand, was the first collection aimed at tennis players and fashion forward spectators. The fabric which is where the name comes from Terrinda was cleaner, sharper, and a smoother appeal. The limits had been broken with this collection and The Fila terrinda jacket was a must have piece. However it wasn’t cheap in price because of the quality and the time spent on research and development. Originals today from the 80s depending on the quality can fetch up to £1200 on websites like e-bay.
The jackets characteristics are very simple with slight padded shoulders, white piping contrast representing the court markings. The biker style collars completed the timeless look of this iconic collector’s jacket. To put it simply – the terrinda was way ahead of its time.

The story behind Fjällräven began in 1950 when Åke Nordin, a 14-year-old boy from Northern Sweden, was about to go for a trek in the mountains. Åke, who spent more time outdoors than indoors, did not like the backpacks that were available at that time. He decided to take matters into his own hands and built a wooden frame...
The frame improved the distribution of weight across the back. It was not only more comfortable to carry, but he could also carry more weight. This innovation gradually made the outdoors become accessible to a wider range of people. This frame was the start of Åke's company, Fjällräven, back in 1960. 'Fjällräven' is Swedish for Arctic Fox, honouring the small predator which lives in the Swedish mountains in the harshest of climates.
From a small room in the basement in Örnsköldsvik, Fjäll Räven has now expanded to almost all corners of the world. But the fundamental ideas are the same; offering functional equipment for comfortable journeys in the outdoors.
The Fjall Raven philosophy is simple: Find innovative and smart solutions, improve materials, decrease weight and increase freedom of movement in the clothing you wear and the equipment you carry. This is why you will notice that Fjällräven's equipment does not follow fleeting trends, but stand for durability year in and year out.
This high performance backpack philosophy extends into tents, sleeping bags and clothing. Product developers and technicians work together to turn new designs into functional styles, ready for the most severe weather conditions. They also use the Fjällräven CLASSIC event to field test products under harsh conditions in order to get feedback that is input directly into Fjällräven outdoor products.
The UK Casuals have taken to the brand which is no surprise as Fjällräven jackets are made of extremely high quality materials and of high quality construction - this clothing is designed for traveling to the arctic.

Here's some more product placement by Luke 1977. Pictured above are Andrew and Joy from Mr Hudson, who popped into Luke Towers to get kitted-out with the latest gear. Here's their profile from website All Music Guide (allmusic.com):
Merging an unusual combination of genres, Mr. Hudson (aka Ben Hudson on vocals and guitar) applied his love for Chet Baker and Cole Porter to his skills in hip-hop production. To play his songs live, he formed the Library, comprised of Maps Huxley (bass), Wilkie Wilkinson (drums), Joy Joseph (steel drums, vocals), and Torville Jones (piano). The first result, an EP entitled Bread & Roses, came out via Deal Real in October 2006. The group toured with Amy Winehouse in early 2007 in support of its debut album, A Tale of Two Cities, released through Deal Real/Mercury. A slate of festival appearances followed during the summer, but Hudson's biggest act of promotion came courtesy of rapper Kanye West, who signed him to his G.O.O.D. Music label and featured Hudson's production and vocals on 2008's number one album, 808s & Heartbreak. Mr. Hudson's second album, Straight No Chaser, appeared in August 2009, ably assisted by a single ("Supernova") featuring West.
Here's their promo for single 'White Lies'.

The Timberland brand was born out of the Abington Shoe Company, in Boston, Mass. USA. Founder Nathan Swartz began his shoe-making career in 1918 as an apprentice stitcher. In 1952, Swartz bought half an interest in The Abington Shoe Company and by 1955 acquired the entire company where he and his family went on to make numerous innovations in shoe-making.
In 1973, the brand name "Timberland" was introduced for the waterproof leather boots produced by the company. Because the boot proved to be very popular, the company name was officially changed to The Timberland Company.
The brand became popular in the 80s when Timberland Boots and Timberland Deck Shoes were adopted by the italian Paninari and then later the British Casuals. In the 90s the boot was popularised by the Hip Hop scene. Rapper/Producer Timbaland took his stage name from the brand. Other rappers of the 90s made reference to the boots in their lyrics - the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Nas, Mobb Deep, and the Boot Camp Clik.
Today Timberland is known globally as a footwear and apparel brand. Visit StuartsLondon.com to see our range of Timberland casual and outdoor footwear.

One True Saxon are on a mission. They have a genuine manifesto. Over to them:
ONETrueSaxon was set-up by ordinary blokes obsessed with decent clothing. A few years down the line, all that has changed is our waist size.
Brimming with sartorial elegance for discerning punters everywhere, we hope that the pride we take in our kit is passed on to you.
Fashion is transient, style is timeless. We don't chase trends or second guess crazes. We just make quality kit! You choose which you are: someone who enjoys fashion or someone who enjoys style.
We have no plans to take over the world but we're not a secret society. We'd like to spread our message and we make no apology for doing so. Let it be clear though that our souls are the last thing we would sell (as we have a garage of dodgy 80s records we need to get rid of first).
Don't forget our motto, taken from 'Modern Manners and Casual Forms', 1889:
"Don't dress like a dude or a swell: nor carry a little poodle (a man's glory is his strength and manliness - not in aping silly girls), nor cock your hat on one side, nor tip it back on your head (let it sit straight and square), nor wear anything conspicuous or that will make you offensive to others."
